A business run by young women has been added to the city of Peja. “FAME Decor” is the name of the business which will offer decorative services for ceremonies or various official and festive events for businesses and families.
Marigona Syka, a young girl, now the owner of this business, says: “I always dreamed of having a decoration business like this, despite my education in another field. Thanks to the support from the NGO Syri i Vizioni within the program with the EU, this dream I had for its opening has become a reality”.
Otherwise, “FAME Decor” is a new business that creates conditions and capacity opportunities for small businesses and the creation of new jobs for disadvantaged communities such as youth, women, persons with disabilities and those from groups ethnic minority.
The decoration company “FAME Decor” was established through the component of grants for start-up enterprises, within the program “Empowerment and employment of young people, women and other groups in need in five municipalities of Kosovo” supported by the funds of the European Union, which is implemented by Eye of Vision in partnership with the organization “The Balkan Forum” as well as the Municipality of Istog, in the municipalities of Pejë, Klinë, Deçan, Junik and Istog.
