Pristina, March 13- The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has organized a coordination meeting with donor organizations working in the field of career guidance and counseling, in which the possibility of coordinating projects and activities related to career guidance was discussed. . Officials of MEST have presented the need for support from donors for the development of this sector, while they have presented the good examples created over the years by these organizations with their projects. Among them, the contribution of the Procareeria/Mismatch projects, which Syri i Vizioni has implemented in the municipalities of the west of Kosovo with the support of Solidar Suisse, has been singled out. In addition, Syri i Vizioni has supported MEST during 2017 and 2018 in the design and implementation of the Strategy for School-Parent Communication for career guidance.

At the donors’ meeting, Syri i Vizioni expressed its commitment to help MEST in the implementation of this strategy, in the drafting of an interministerial regulation for the operation of career counseling, especially in the local area, where the Procareria/Mismatch and SEED projects have created informal structures such as the Group local coordinator in Pejë, or local employment councils, which are approved by the municipal assemblies in Pejë, Gjakovë and Prizren.
