Syri i Vizioni and Democracy Plus on Wednesday organized the public debate with citizens and candidates for the mayor of the municipality of Peja for the municipal elections on October 17.
The four candidates for mayor were invited to the debate, but only the candidates Rrustem Berisha from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and Kreshnik Husaj from the Democratic Party of Unity (PDU) responded to the invitation for discussion. The debate discussed the priorities during the next mandate as well as the demands of citizens that have been identified through the Forum for Citizen Dialogue in the municipality of Peja.
The candidates for mayor of the municipality, Rrustem Berisha and Kreshnik Husaj, have signed the commitment card and promised to work towards fulfilling the identified priorities.
This meeting was organized within the Forum for Citizen Dialogue, which is financed by the Olof Palme International Center, supported by Democracy Plus (D+), through the “Viewpoints for Local Elections 2021” project.
