Think Globally,
Act Locally

Today, September 29, the Eye of Vision has a birthday. This year marks 21 years since the beginning of our work. As young people coming out of the war, eager for change, we wanted to do something for our country. While everyone was trying to make ends meet, we, some young people, were trying to start doing something that would serve our country. In September 1999, we managed to start concretizing our first project. We had put the point. For a month we had over 40 young men and women around us, mostly from Peja. We had specified that we needed to collect as many problems as we had as a society and start dealing with them one by one.

The motto of the action was and remained: “Think Globally, Act Locally”.

For these 21 years, it cannot be explained how many hundreds and hundreds of projects have been realized, how many thousands and thousands of people have become part of our process. It is unimaginable, but also infinite, the impact on improving the lives of our citizens. Awareness, Information and Advocacy in the most advanced form, to make every good thing that happens in the world be brought as an experience to us as well. Strengthening of democracy, Protection of human rights, Social dialogue, Economic development, Environment and Urban mobility, these are the long-term programs of our organization that found the support of the citizen and in many cases also of our institutions at the local and central level, and always support powerful partners and donors from all western countries. Many thanks to each of them!

We are very happy to have so many friends, everywhere. In Kosovo, our best friends are children, women, youth, minority communities, farmers, teachers, parents, non-governmental organizations, the media, representatives of villages and neighborhoods in many municipalities across the country, assemblymen in all municipalities of Kosovo, deputies , the administrations of many municipalities, various ministries, the Government of Kosovo itself, numerous partners and organizations in all the Balkan countries… The list is very long and the work very big… friendship is the basis of mutual trust for not to stop.

Thanking each of you who has been a part of this journey which will continue, we wish to work together and celebrate many anniversaries of the organization!
