Since February, in four municipalities of Dukagjin, the organization Syri i Vizioni has started implementing a project in support of women, with financial support from USAID/ATRC. The project aims to empower women and encourage them for active participation.
Within the project for 20 women of the municipal assemblies of Peja, Istog, Deçan and Junik, there will be one-day forums with different topics, technical assistance, etc. thus facilitating the promotion of their role in politics. For women from civil society, business and political subjects, there will also be support in counseling, mentoring and support in success in entrepreneurship, while examples of successful women in Kosovar society will be presented at the meetings.
