Gjakovë – January 25, 2013 The fifth training was held with primary school students in Peja and Gjakovë as part of the “Child Trafficking Response Program” project, which is financed by Save the Children and implemented by Syri i Vizioni. The training was held on the topic “Prevent HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections” with the group of students from the Ramiz Sadiku elementary school in Pejë, and students from the Zekeria Rexha school in Gjakovë.
The purpose of the training was to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, equip them with skills and information to protect themselves from infections and build fair/positive attitudes towards those affected by HIV/AIDS.
The group consisting of 14 students, 7 from the Ramiz Sadiku school in Pejë, and 7 from the Zekeria Rexha school in Gjakovë, are part of this project. These students will be trained in 7 different topics, and then they will share the acquired knowledge with their peers in schools, organizing trainings in schools by students divided into groups.
