Within the framework of the AGE+ project, Syri i Vizionit intends to engage an expert to develop an advocacy plan for the target municipalities of Pejë and Istog. The advocacy plan will aim to promote age-friendly communities, combat age-related prejudices, support healthy aging, and foster intergenerational solidarity.
The development of the advocacy plan will be carried out in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders and beneficiaries, ensuring an inclusive and participatory approach that reflects the needs, experiences, and voices of elderly individuals, with particular attention to the perspectives of older women. Key contributors to the process will include elderly citizens, civil society organizations (CSOs), relevant institutions, and other local actors.
The selected expert will be responsible for:
- Facilitating consultations, workshop and validation meetings with stakeholders, including elderly individuals, especially older women, NGOs, and institutions.
- Developing an advocacy plan
The total effort should be 12 working days including preparation work between 16 June 2025 and 31 August 2025. The locations include Peje and Istog, including preparation work.
The advocacy plan will aim to challenge gender and age stereotypes, strengthen the visibility and rights of elderly individuals, and support the creation of more inclusive and age-friendly local policies and environments.
