Istog, September 12 – The non-governmental organization Syri i Vizioni from Peja has distributed one hundred and ten school packages to the students of the pre-primary, primary and lower secondary cycle of the “Martin Camaj” school in the municipality of Istog, in order to facilitate the education conditions for the children of Roma, Egyptian and Ashkali communities of the villages of Sërbobran and Gurrakoc, who also attend classes at this school.

The children and their families were very happy about these packages, since with this they were able to equip themselves with the necessary materials to start the new school year.

These preschools are part of the program financially supported by the European Union – “EU Support for the Implementation of the Strategy for the Integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities 2 – Education for Integration” (called EUSIMRAES 2), which is implemented by KFOS in partnership with seven organizations, including the Eye of Vision and the Kosovo Education Center (KEC) in the municipality of Istog.
