Pejë, July 23- Organized by the “Mismatch” project, a meeting was held on Tuesday in Pejë on issues of professional practice in the hotel and tourism sector in the Municipality of Pejë, carried out by the NGO “Syri i Vizionit”.
With the representatives from the economic school “Ali Hadri”, the officials of education, business and representatives from the civil society, it was discussed about the coordination for the improvement of the professional practice of the students in the areas of hospitality and tourism. In this meeting, the package of standardized documentation for the follow-up of professional practice for students of vocational schools in businesses was presented, consisting of seven documents drawn up by experts on the relationships between school, business and students in professional practice.
In the other part of the meeting, the possibilities of coordination between schools and business were discussed and the ideas of the ongoing activities of the project were presented, where it was proposed to hold workshops and visits from the Economic School for the businesses of Peja, the drafting of a guide-handbook for professional practice , a research on the state of hotel and tourism businesses in the municipality of Peja, their needs and capacity with recommendations for the needs of SHME, etc.
