June stars in Ferizaj
Ferizaj, May 31, the Children’s Commune Assembly in Ferizaj together with the organizations Syri i Vizioni and Save the Children Kosovo/o, supported by the Directorate of Education, have carried out several activities with the motto “June Stars”, which through this activity mark “June 1”, International Children’s Day.
Where the activity started with the creation of different messages with the wishes, needs and expectations that the children have and then they had a friendly conversation with the Director of Education Mr. Afrim Llabijani and the Children’s Rights Officer Elesa Nebiu.
Director of Education Mr. Llabijani, in addition to congratulating the children on their international day, at the same time thanked the Children’s Assembly for the work and commitment they are making to represent the demands and wishes of their peers.
He promises the children that he will commit himself every day to work so that their lives, not only in education but in every sector, are the way they want them to be, which is also the obligation of the institutions in the municipality of Ferizaj.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the thematic program for the protection and rights of the child “Our Obligation to the Future – Protection of Children and Governance of Children’s Rights” for the Strengthening of Civil Society by the Eye of Vision Organizations in partnership with Save the Children Kosovo, financed by the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development – Sida.
