Istog, July 7 – Within the project “Development of innovation and entrepreneurship in the cross-border region of Kosovo and Montenegro”, financed by the European Union, the House of Innovation, a place dedicated to the generation of innovative ideas, has been opened in Istog and the implementation of information technology in the service of tourism development.
The mayor of the Municipality of Istog, Haki Rugova, and the mayor of the Municipality of Berane from Montenegro, Dragoslav Scekic, took part in the ceremony. The project is carried out in parallel in these two localities within the cross-border cooperation projects funded by the European Commission and started in March. The House of Innovation is located in the Palace of Culture in Istog, and was constructed with the means of the project and with the support of the Municipality of Istog.
