Directors of Pre-University Educational Institutions in Ferizaj welcome and commit to the implementation of the Policy for the Protection of Children
Ferizaj, May 27 – Today, in Ferizaj, the Eye of Vision organizations in partnership with Save the Children Kosovo and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and in coordination with the Director of Education, held an information session with the directors of Pre-university Education Institutions in the municipality of Ferizaj, for the presentation of the Child Protection Policy.
The Director of Education, Mr. Afrim Llabijani, has thanked the organizations Syri i Vizioni and Save the Children for the work and commitment they are doing in protecting children and improving the position of their rights in the municipality of Ferizaj for several years. He also expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Education for going to the field to meet with school principals and to promote the Child Protection Policy, as well as to get to know directly the challenges that the schools of this municipality have in child protection. and their rights.
On the other hand Mrs. Merirta Jonuzi from MASHTI and Mr. Naser Lajqi from Syri i Vizioni organization, in addition to presenting the child protection policy, expressed their willingness to help pre-university education institutions in implementing this policy so that schools are even safer and friendlier places. for children.
The directors of pre-university institutions in this municipality have welcomed the child protection policy, especially the obligation to sign the declaration of commitment by each teacher, technical staff and anyone who will work or collaborate with schools.
Such sessions will also be held in the municipality of Prizren, Pristina and Gjilan, within the thematic program for the protection and rights of the child “Our Obligation to the Future – Protection of Children and Governance of Children’s Rights” for Strengthening Society Civil from Syri i Vizioni Organizations in partnership with Save the Children Kosovo/o, financed by the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development – Sida.
