15.11.2024 at the Center for Solidarity between Generations in the village of Novoselle in Peja, a group session was organized with the elderly and a discussion was held about the family tree. Family support plays an important role for the elderly, to cope with difficult situations and to create a sense of support from family members.
The elderly in this group session discussed issues related to the family tree because they provide a safe environment where the elderly can share their experiences, feel understood and supported. These sessions help participants understand that they are not alone in their difficulties and can learn from the experiences of others.
The activity was carried out within the framework of the program “Building Age-Friendly Communities through Intergenerational Action in Kosovo – AGE+” which is funded by Volkshilfe Solidaritat and the Austrian Development Agency – ADA and implemented by the organization Syri i Vizionit.
