Our Voice will Echo in Our City
Gjakovë, 01 June – The Municipal Assembly of Children in the Municipality of Gjakova supported by the organizations Syri i Vizioni and Save the Children Kosova/o and the Office for Gender Equality and Human Rights and the Directorate of Education also supported by the acting director of the Congress school of Manastir in the village of Damjan, have developed various activities to mark June 1, International Children’s Day.
Activities have started in the freedom park where representatives of children from different schools have participated together with the Children’s Assembly where they have carried out various works with messages that express their wishes, requests and needs with the motto “Our Voice will Resound” in Our City”.
Then the works were exhibited in the “Asim Voshi” culture palace, where various visitors saw the works made by the children themselves, then the activity continued through a cultural and artistic program at the “Prenk Jakova” music school.
Where the children through this cultural program have sung, danced, karaoke and mini-drama thus offering a very diverse and entertaining program for all the children of the municipality of Gjakova.
