The mayor of Istog, Mr. Ilir Ferzati, debates with the citizens about the fulfillment of commitments
Istog, June 26- The organizations Syri i Vizioni and Democracy Plus have organized a public debate of the mayor of the municipality of Istog, Mr. Ilir Ferati with citizens, regarding the implementation or non-implementation of the commitments that Mr. Ferati had given during the electoral campaign.
Of the many commitments of that time, some of them have been specified by the organizations Syri i Vizioni and Demokracy Plus, which were signed by the mayor, that during this term he will realize the commitments related to the development of mountain tourism, the improvement of social welfare , investments in agriculture and in the field of education through the construction of nurseries for children.
And then a discussion was held with citizens where it was requested by the mayor Ferati himself that citizens and civil society should be more active in their demands and by participating in discussions and public hearings as this increases the responsibility and accountability of the government towards the citizens and it is possible to co-govern together with citizens.
Participating citizens and from civil society addressed some concerns and needs related to youth, cultural heritage, as well as infrastructure, be it roads, sewers, drinking water and the electricity network.
